The aFe exhaust header upgrade for the 997 Porsche 911 Carrera adds an extra 17 HP and 24 ft lbs of torque. The headers are constructed of near equal length 304 stainless steel tubing with thick flanges to ensure a leak free seal. The smooth curves and increased diameter of the header tubes, help to remove restrictions and keep exhaust gas flowing smoothly. This improves power delivery and in particular, throttle response with more low end torque at lower rpm.

High quality set of headers that fit extremely well. The headers produce a healthy power and torque gain that can be optimized with an ecu tune and a free flowing exhaust.

+ Installation

Installation of the aFe exhaust headers is quite straightforward. aFe does not include exhaust manifold gaskets – we’d recommend you replace these rather than re-use them. Also, make sure you have the torque specifications for the manifold to head available – breaking a bolt here can be expensive!
