ipd plenum upgrade for porsche panamera turbo 970 y designThe IPD Plenums upgrade for the Porsche Panamera Turbo 970 is an innovative “Y” style designed aluminum intake plenum that replaces the factory plastic plenum. The IPD design improves performance by channeling intake air to the cylinder banks more efficiently. This design reduces air flow turbulence caused by the factory design and increases air flow velocity. This results in substantial measurable power gains throughout the entire rpm band and the torque increases are most noticeable at mid to upper rpm.

The IPD Panamera Turbo plenum features a revised diversion area and larger inlet openings that further optimize intake air speed and volume. The IPD design improves boost response and creates a longer, more linear power curve.

The factory plastic intakes tubes are prone to cracking over time. The IPD Plenum is aluminum and will not crack while handling the highest of boost levels. IPD’s Plenum also reuses the factory hardware and the original 76mm throttle body for easy installation.

Does not fit Panamera Turbo with sound imposer package.PLEASE NOTE: The IPD Panamera Turbo plenum will NOT fit vehicles equipped with the factory Sound Imposer Package. This is easily identified by raising your hood and inspecting the front center of the engine compartment.

Your Questions Answered

Does the IPD Plenum Work on a Porsche Panamera?
Yes. You will feel a difference in performance and power.

Is it Worth the Spend?
Absolutely. This is one of the easiest and most cost effective upgrades you can make to the 970 Panamera Turbo.

Will I get a Check Engine Light?
No. The IPD plenum upgrade will not cause a check engine light.

Does it Affect Maintenance Service on the Panamera?
No. Maintenance and service work is unaffected with the IPD plenum as it simply replaces an existing factory part.

Do I need to Make Other Changes?
No other changes to the engine are needed with an IPD plenum. Optionally, adding a high flow air filter and an ECU tune will further improve the performance of the IPD plenum.
