The AWE performance exhaust upgrade for the Porsche Cayman 987 and 987.2 provides approx. 11 HP gain and deeper sound from a straightforward bolt-on design.  Comprised of center performance mufflers and connecting pipes, the smoothed exhaust gas flow produces additional low end torque.  AWE offers a choice of tip styles from silver, black to re-use of the original.

The design of the system smooths exhaust gas flow with a straight path and balance pipe through the muffler sections.  AWE spend time to ensure the exhaust produces low tones and not the raspy unpleasant results achieved by other manufacturers.  The result is a sophisticated deep tone that does not drone at freeway speeds but rumbles aggressively at idle.

The exhaust tone from the Cayman 987 can be improved dramatically by upgrading to this exhaust.  The tone of the standard exhaust has always been a little flat.  AWE’s exhaust wakes it up, deepens the sound and definitely makes it more fun.  Good quality, easy fit and excellent sound.
