The IPD Plenums upgrade for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo 957 is an innovative “Y” style designed aluminum intake plenum that replaces the factory plastic plenum. The IPD design improves performance by channeling intake air to the cylinder banks more efficiently. This design reduces air flow turbulence caused by the factory design and increases air flow velocity. This results in substantial measurable power gains throughout the entire rpm band and the torque increases are most noticeable at mid to upper rpm.
The IPD Cayenne Turbo plenum features a revised diversion area and larger inlet openings that further optimize intake air speed and volume. The IPD design improves boost response and creates a longer, more linear power curve.
The factory plastic intakes tubes are prone to cracking over time. The IPD Plenum is aluminum and will not crack while handling the highest of boost levels. IPD’s Plenum also reuses the factory hardware and the original 76mm throttle body.

This is one of the best and easiest modifications you can make to your Cayenne Turbo. The IPD Plenum upgrade is one of a few products that consistently delivers power and torque gains. You can feel the extra torque available right through the rpm range. Combined with an exhaust, ECU tune and intake, the IPD Plenums definitely deliver results.
+ Installation
Installation is about as easy as it gets – once you lift the hood it’s right there in front of you! With some patience and a little shuffling of rubber connectors, the installation doesn’t take long at all. The bolts for the throttle body are soft and easily stripped, so don’t over tighten.
